Happy Inauguration Day

The President's call for responsibility and service ultimately rests with each of us as Americans. Let us look ahead and find a way to succeed in our ambition for a more perfect union instead of reasons to fail. Let us reject the divisiveness's of blame. I hope we all can rise to the challenges ahead and accept the President's call to service. I didn't get to watch today but what little bit I saw when got home was a great speech this morning.

C is for Crafting

I have gotten a few projects finished this weekend . Here's the frames I embellished for

the grandma's and aunts of the family of the kiddo's school pic.

Here's my monogram post it note holder I made for myself for my desk at work. I got this idea
from my crafty sister. PTO president at the junior high at our school ask me to coordinate a gift Christmas gift for the teachers, I had a budget of $1.00 per teacher that was it so, I made these for 55 teachers and faculty for our junior and high school staff for their Christmas gift. I had a couple of moms lined up to help me but, I was solo except for Jake, he had stayed after school so we whipped out 55 of these in 2 1/2 hours start to finish!!!! Thanks, Jake

Here's another project I copied from my sister, this cross. She's been collecting crosses for awhile, so I have just started to really enjoy them myself so now I am collecting crosses too and am starting a cross wall like my sis....

This is my next project to start a monogram pillow with buttons...I having a peeping tom????Or perhaps a little helper.........What's your next craft?

Sad Saturday

Please remember John Travolta family in your prayers and thoughts today. Their 16 year old son Jett died yesterday. You really don't think to much in everyday life in all the celebrities and people that are part of your growing up. Like John Travolta for exaplme, when I was a teenager his movie Urban Cowboy. I remember thinking this morning when I read the news of his son's death, I was crazy over him when I was just 16 or so...

Also, today is the day for taking down Christmas stuff and cleaning our house try to get everything back in order one of my resolutions is to keep my house in better order we are that family that kinda lives my the seat of our pants hahahahah.....As you can see by the pic below I will be that kinda girl probably by 2 p.m.
